About Teri

Teri Anderholm is a memoirist and essayist with roots in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and New England. She’s a member of the Maine Writers & Publishers Alliance and the Wisdom & Words Writing Community.

In 2024, she published her debut; Inn Mates ~ An Innkeeper’s Memoir, which was named an award finalist in the 2024 International Book Awards for creative nonfiction.

Teri was an avid reader growing up, a music lover, and a long distance swimmer. She is the eldest of 5 siblings who grew up in a complicated muddle of love, transience, grit and enough dysfunction to make for good story telling.

A first-generation Boston College graduate, Teri spent many years in the investment world before hitting the glass ceiling and pursuing another passion: cooking and hospitality. She earned her professional chef diploma from the Cambridge School of Culinary Arts and went on to work in a top-rated Boston-area restaurant. Then she became an innkeeper, or rather it became her.

When she’s not reading, writing, cooking, and choral singing, Teri’s true loves are spending time with Jeff, and dog Theo wandering along the beaches in York County, Maine.
